Justice & Equity

Role and Mission

The mission of the Justice and Equity Committee is to support, protect, and advocate for the safety and success of all students, with a strong emphasis on marginalized groups; we will work to ensure that The Ohio State University promotes these same principles through policy and programming.

Projects & Policy

Deputy Directors

Danny Buanno.1 (He/Him/His)

Danny is a 4th-year Political Science major who joined the Justice and Equity committee because he wanted to help contribute to a campus environment where everyone felt safe and comfortable being who they are. Outside of class, Danny enjoys drumming, watching movies, and playing video games!

Ethan Lucas.894 (He/Him/His)

Ethan is an English and political science double-major here at Ohio State! Ethan joined the Justice and Equity committee because he believed that Ohio State was a wonderful space for various communities; and hoped that, through service, he could help each one be heard and appreciated. This is Ethan’s second year in USG, and he couldn’t be more excited to get started on all of our upcoming projects!
