Buckeye Road Trip

The Buckeye Road trip is a reduced cost busing service that has been in operation since 2013. It is designed to bring students to cities in and out of Ohio. These cities currently include East/West Cleveland, Toledo, Cincinnati, Chicago, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia.

                                               Spring Break  2025

Departure times will depend on the destination. The following areas will be serviced during this trip: East Cleveland, West Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago x2, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh. Buses depart from the Ohio Union roundabout, located on 12th Ave. accross from Drinko hall (near the dorms). When you arrive, volunteers with clip boards will check you in before boarding. 

Departure on Friday, March 7th, 2024  - For out of state buses, be at the Ohio Union to check-in between 4:30p.m. and 4:45p.m. as the buses will leave at 5:00 p.m. For in state buses be at the Ohio Union to check in between 5:30p.m. and 5:45p.m. as buses will leave at 6:00p.m. Look for the student ambassadors with clipboards who will check you in and ensure that you are on the right bus. We recommend arriving at least 15-20 minutes early to get checked in and seated as the buses depart promptly at 5:00 pm or 6:00 pm depending on the city. 

Return on Sunday, March 16th, 2025 -  Be at the designated pickup location at least 15-20 minutes early, as all buses returning to campus will leave promptly at their designated times for each location. Look for the ambassadors with clipboards to check you in.

Return times on Sunday, March 16th, 2025 will vary depending on the city. All return times are local to the city in which you are departing. 

$25 roundtrip (NON-REFUNDABLE) for the Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Pittsburgh trips. $65 roundtrip (NON-REFUNDABLE) for the Philadelphia and Chicago trips. 

*If you book a seat (reserve) and cancel or don't show up, your fees are non-refundable. If you are on a waitlist and a seat becomes available, you will pay at that time. If you reserve a seat and determine you don't need it, you can let us know so that someone else can go home but no refund will be given. 

WE DO NOT OFFER A ONE-WAY SERVICE RATE.  If you wish to take the bus from campus to a destination and find another way back, you are welcome to do so but the cost remains the same. If you sign up to take a bus from your destination back to campus, you are welcome to do so.

• Pickup at dropoff location on Sunday, March 16th, 2025 @ 4:00pm
• Return to Ohio Union

• Depart Ohio Union on Friday, March 7th, 2025 @ 6:00pm

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania registration now open! (7hrs 30mins approximately)

• Pickup at dropoff location on Sunday, March 16th, 2025 @ 9:00am
