Justice & Equity
Role and Mission
The mission of the Justice and Equity Committee is to support, protect, and advocate for the safety and success of all students, with a strong emphasis on marginalized groups; we will work to ensure that The Ohio State University promotes these same principles through policy and programming.

Pronouns: he/him/his
I’m Gabe Myers, the Director of Justice and Equity this year. I’m a 3rd year majoring in Neuroscience with minors in Global Public Health and Social Psychology & Personality. After graduation, I plan on going to medical school to become a physician. This is my 3rd year in USG, and I joined to get involved on campus and to leave Ohio State better than I found it once I graduate. Some of the USG projects I have worked on in the past are the 2020 LGBTQ+ Campus Climate Report, Ban the Box, and renaming Bricker Hall. Outside of USG, I am also involved on campus as a Resident Advisor (RA), volunteer at the Wexner Medical Center, and member of the Morrill Scholars Program.
Gabe can be reached at myers.2039@osu.edu.

Aside from USG I am a member of BOSU and I enjoy art in my free time.
Rachael Crouch.125 (she/her)
I am a third year studying Political Science and History of Art. After graduation, I would like to work in the curatorial department of a museum, political data analytics, or in photography. Kalid Dada.32 (he/him)
My name is Khalid Dada, a 3rd year Public Policy Analysis major. My plans after undergrad are to attend law school and obtain my JD and practice law. I also have interests in pursuing my MPA and work in policy. I joined USG because I felt my voice not being heard. I am here in USG to be a voice for the voiceless and create actionable change on our campus to provide a better environment for us all. I also am currently the President of the Muslim Students’ Association and Vice President of Students for Justice in Palestine.
Tobi Petty.179 (he/him)
I am a third-year student. Studying for a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Political Science. After graduation, I plan to go to Law School and study Public Policy Law. I am hoping to become a lawyer. In USG, I have brought up certain ideas about how to better help students and advocacy for Regional Campuses. I also worked on a campaign project during the 2021 student body president election. A fun fact about me is that my birthday is 9/11 and I was also born at 9:11 PM.
Yzen Al-Marrawi.2 (he/him)
Hi everyone! My name is Yzen Al-Marrawi and I'm a second year majoring in Neuroscience on a premed track! After graduation, I hope to attend medical school and become a physician. I joined USG because I am passionate about making our voices heard as students, and what better way to make that happen then to participate in student government. Although I am new to USG, I can't wait to help behind the scenes while planning out events this year as I am also a Deputy Director of Justice and Equity within USG! A fun fact about me is that I am fluent in Arabic, and I am involved in several other organizations around campus such as MSA, Medical Careers Club, Health Science Scholars, and Neuroscience Ambassadors.
Julius McIntyre.268* (he/him)
My name is Julius McIntyre (he/him). I am a third year studying Sociology with a focus is Social Inequalities and a minor in Human Rights. Following my undergraduate degree I plan on perusing law school. This is my first USG experience and I could not be more excited. I joined USG in order to be the amplifier of the student voices that are often underrepresented. Representation is important when discussing issues that impact every student at large, so being able to advocate for the communities who do not have a seat at the table is an important goal of mine.
