The role of the President of the Undergraduate Student Government is to advocate for Ohio State Students in the local, state, and federal governments in higher-education policy while representing all 52,517 undergraduate students in academic, financial, and policy decisions at the Ohio State University.
Shamina is a fourth year majoring in Management Information Systems from Broadview Heights, Ohio. She has held multiple leadership positions in USG such as the Director of Student Affairs, Deputy Chief of Staff, and Liaison to the Association of Big Ten Students. Outside of USG, she is involved with the Buckeye Undergraduate Consulting Club. On campus, she is most likely to be found in the USG Office in the Union.
