Media & External Engagement Requests

The Undergraduate Student Government (USG) welcomes engagement with media organizations, external partners, and outside firms interested in covering, collaborating with, or learning more about student government at Ohio State. All media requests, partnership inquiries, and external engagement efforts are coordinated through the USG Communications Team.

The Communications Team manages public relations, marketing, messaging, and external engagement for USG. Centralizing these requests allows our organization to provide accurate information, coordinate with the appropriate leadership, and ensure timely responses.

Submitting a Request

All media inquiries and external partnership requests should be directed to:

To help us respond efficiently, please include the following information in your message:

• Your name and affiliated organization, publication, or firm

• The purpose of your request (e.g., interview, media coverage, partnership, or information request)

• Relevant details about the topic, project, or collaboration you are proposing

• Your timeline or deadline, if applicable

• Your preferred contact information for follow-up

Once your request is received, the Communications Team will review the inquiry and coordinate with the appropriate members of USG leadership. A member of the team will follow up with next steps or any additional information.
