The role of the Vice President of the Undergraduate Student Government is to advocate on behalf of undergraduate students regarding issues pertaining to all aspects of the student experience. The Vice President regularly meets with administrators to effectively accomplish policy goals. In addition, this position entails serving as the Chair and Speaker of the General Assembly and making appointments for the 90 undergraduate student seats in University Senate and University Senate Committees.
Sophie Chang is the USG Vice President for the 2016-2017 term.
Sophie is a 4th-year from Princeton, New Jersey studying Enviroment, Economy, Development, and Sustainability (EEDS) in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. She began her time in USG as a South Campus Senator and later directed the Health and Safety Committee. When Sophie isn't in the office or in class, she's listening to podcasts or climbing at the ARC!
