  • I understand that communication is essential to effective representation. As a representative for the College of Social and Behavioral, I will work with members of the SBS administration to get my name out to constituents. Advisers can direct students with questions or concerns to me or another SBS Senator. The USG website is a also a great way to let people know who their senators are and how they may contact them; making people aware of this tool is very important. Lastly, I feel that social networking sites, such as Facebook, can be a great way for constituents to bring any issues that they may have to my attention. I will always do my best to respond promptly to any and all concerns.
  • I disagree. In a general sense, I think that the record of the Senate speaks for itself. Recently, the Senate has worked to ensure funding for a joint patrol car that will increase safety on and off campus, helped lower GEC requirements, and approved a new 125 swipe meal plan. These accomplishments are evidence that the senate is dedicated to representing and working for students. As a senator, I hope to continue to build upon the work of the current senate for the benefit of all Ohio State Students.
  • I believe that the biggest thing that USG can improve upon is awareness and access. As an organization, we need to do a better job reaching out to students and letting them know who we are what we do. As far as access, our goal should be to let students know how exactly to get involved: there are too many students that are interested in learning more about USG but don't know how. Solving these problems are essential to ensuring that USG will continue to function as an effective and efficient organization for representing students.

  • This year my least favorite day of the year was St. Patrick’s Day. The two finals that I had the next day ensured that I did not get to celebrate..
