For my entire three years in SBS, I have never received any notification of who my Senators were and what they were doing for me. If I'm elected, that will change. Future SBS students will not be in the dark of who I am, and what I am doing. I aspire to send out weekly updates to SBS students of what I am working on, and things of that nature, and there will be the option to contact me regarding issues that my constituents may have.

I agree that some people run for Senate to pad their resume, especially Political Science majors (with the exception of P.S. students running for SBS seats). However, there are many people that want to have their views heard and represented, and that's why they run for USG Senate.

I think what has plagued USG is that many view it as a popularity contest. I think that the more this continues, the less effective USG is in addressing important issues. I would like to see USG Officials held to the same regard and criticism as our Student Athletes are.

"Black Friday" is my least favorite day of the year because it allows human beings to practically act like deranged lunatics in order to consume meaningless products. It is facilitated by some of the most evil corporations.
