• Question 1:How would you make sure your constituents know who you are and how they can contact you?
  My goal is to really reach out to student organizations, particularly those organizations affiliated with the College of Education and Human Ecology. By attending meetings and being an active presence throughout the year, I can make sure I'm accessible to those groups and advocate their interests within USG.
• Question 2:How do you respond to accusations that joining USG senate is all about resume padding?
  I am willing to put forth a lot of time and energy to a senate position, recognizing that as a senator I would have a responsibility to not only myself, but more importantly my constituents. I think I speak for many potential members of senate when I say that I would not be running if I didn't feel passionate about serving. If I wanted to pad my resume I'm sure I could find much easier ways that would take less time and energy.
• Question 3:How would you like to see USG improve?
  The biggest way that USG can improve is by increasing its transparency. How can USG consider itself representative of the student population if many students don't even know what it is or what it's working on? I think it will be really important in the future for USG to make a conscious effort to educate students on its projects and how they can provide input.

  September 19, the day after my birthday. I have to be older without the excitement of it being my birthday...
